Monday
If you’re wanting to get the kids out the house this week for their daily exercise, Wat Tyler Country Park have themed trails you can choose from:
➡ Explosives trail – Marvel at the meaning of the park’s mysterious grassy mounds on a trail that takes you back to the days of dynamite and the Pitsea Explosives Factory.
➡ WWII trail – Up a muddy creek just up the Thames from one of wartime Britain’s most important oil refineries, the Wat Tyler site, home to the Sea Transport Stores was strategically important in World War II.
➡ Sculpture trail – You’ll find big art surprises all over the park. Our sculpture trail takes you on a trip to discover them all.
