The kids were really excited to see another Lego movie, especially as Ninjago looked so different to the others, so naturally I had high expectations as all the other ones have been so great, even as a parent.
As I have seen all the Lego Movies and I love their sly humour so I was intrigued and excited to see what the latest had in store.
A familiar voice (Jackie Chan to my surprise) tells the story of Ninjago where there is a threat from Lord Garmadon who wants to rule all, a bit like Lord Business from the last movie, where secret Ninja forces with their own funny power-ranger-like identity try to take him down to find the ultimate weapon.
My kids loved it, and I loved it. It was good to see a different type of Lego movie with Ninjas rather than super heroes otherwise I may have been sidetracked on an app on my phone.
