Roman teenager Atti is conscripted into the Roman Army after falling foul of Emperor Nero. He is sent to “miserable, cold, wet Britain” where “the natives are revolting, quite literally”. Things go from bad to worse when Atti is captured by Orla, a teenage Celt determined to prove herself as a warrior. After avoiding execution in a bog, Atti uses his Roman ingenuity to help Orla save her grandma who was kidnapped by the Braganza tribe. Nero, who spends much of his time plotting to kill his mother is also determined to crush the rebellion, led by Boudicca, Queen of the Iceni.

The Lion King really is the telling of the circle of life now that 25 years after the original release children of the 90s can now take their own children to enjoy Jon Favreau’s second Directorial CGI reboot of a Disney Classic, and if you want nostalgia you will definitely get it as this story is pretty much identical to the original version even down to the shots, songs and the return of James L Jones as Mustafa.

He is knocked unconscious during a worldwide power cut and wakes up in a world without The Beatles. He reconstructs their songs from memory  (although remembering some of the lyrics is a bit tricky) and begins to pass them off as his own.
